Greg’s Airbrushing & Tattoo Academy is dedicated to developing the next generation of professional tattoo artists through quality education, hands-on training, and industry-leading instruction. With more than 30 graduates successfully completing our program, we are proud to maintain a 100% pass rate for students who have taken the Virginia state tattoo licensing examination. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, safety practices, and professional standards required to succeed in the tattoo industry. The academy is led by Gregory L. Edwards, an award-winning artist, business owner, and Chair of the Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology. Greg was appointed to the Board by Governor Glenn Youngkin and continues his service under Governor Abigail Spanberger, bringing real-world industry experience and regulatory knowledge directly into the classroom. At Greg’s Airbrushing & Tattoo Academy, students receive the training, mentorship, and confidence needed to build successful careers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and public safety.
TO ATTEND YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE, BE ABLE TO ATTEND CLASSES REGULARLY, COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS (INCLUDING PAYING THE $200 NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE, SIGNING ALL STUDENT AGREEMENTS, ESTABLISHING YOUR OFFICIAL ATTENDANCE SCHEDULE, AND PAYING TUITION OR ENTERING INTO A PAYMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE SCHOOL), HAVE GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE, AND HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE.
TUITION IS $10,000 (DOES NOT INCLUDE APPLICATION FEE) FOR THE 1000 HOUR COURSE.
